10.03.2023. What's your why?

I have 23 subscribers from 9 countries 🌎 at this point. In my newsletter, I share 5 interesting things every week. Please feel free to forward this to your friends.

Let's begin ✌️

🧠 A quote that I'm pondering -

'He, who has a why to live for, can bear with almost any how.'

- Nietzsche

This quote makes me wonder about a story about Kevin Durant, an NBA superstar. His youth basketball coach, Charles Craig, died at age 35 in a parking lot after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in the upper body. Durant wears No. 35, which is retired at the University of Texas, to honor Craig for the years he had on earth.

Isn't it beautiful? If Kevin had played only for himself, he wouldn't have been so great. But since he plays for something bigger than him, he has a reason to never stop. When we perform only for ourselves, we do it when we feel like it. On the other hand, when we perform for something bigger than us, we perform no matter what!

My reason is my mom. What's yours?
