Confused between 2 things?

Confused between 2 things?

We have all found ourselves in a dilemma from time to time. There are two options in front of us and we are confused about which one to choose. I'd say that you should go for the path which is harder in the short term.

Let's learn it with the help of an example. Imagine your boss gives you a challenging task. It requires some crazy Excel formula or a long Python code. The easiest thing to do in that moment is to seek help from a coworker who has done a similar task before.

But what if you take the path which is harder in the short term? What if you spend 4-5 hours by yourself learning to do it on your own? You might be slow at it but eventually, you'll get somewhere with that task. You might not be able to finish it, but when you will finally go to that coworker for help, he/she will be proud of you for the work you did on your own before seeking help.

The same goes for life. People who say - 'Recommend me a good book man.' They're not serious about reading.

People who say - 'Give me a good workout routine that I can follow.' They aren't serious about working out.

People who say - 'What should I invest in man?' They're not serious about investing.

Figure out as much as you can on your own and then you will have better and more specific questions to ask. Make it a value to live by.

See you next week.
