I Would Love To Find Her!

Back in June 2019, when I was in my last semester and was about to finish my Bachelor's Degree, I used to live in the outer area of Warsaw. It took me 1 hour every day to reach my university by public transport.

Since there was only 1 bus station nearby and the bus was every 25 mins, it was very important for me to catch the right bus. Waiting for the next one would mean missing half the lecture.

One day I woke up late, got ready for classes as soon as possible, and left the house on an empty stomach. I had an exam! When I was 5 minutes away from the bus stop, I saw my bus approaching from the highway. I knew I had about 30 seconds. I ran as fast as I could, I fucking sprinted like Usain Bolt, and I even crossed the road at a red light, but the moment I reached the bus, the bus driver drove away.

At that moment, I knew I had missed the exam and that meant a retake. I put both my hands on the knees and I stood sad, bent down. To my surprise, a car stopped near me, the windows rolled down and a Polish lady said to me with a smile - 'Let's catch your bus?'

I replied - 'Hell yeah! It would mean the world to me!'

I quickly sat inside the car. She drove her car fast, overtook the bus, and told the driver to wait for me. I hopped on the bus and the whole day I was thinking about her and regretting not getting her contact or email.

Fast forward 4 years later, her act of kindness is still on my mind.
